Marshall 8 and Marshall 8R
The Aratek Marshall 8 is a tablet-factor mobile device designed for biometric and non-biometric data capture, person identification, and authentication. The device is suitable for applications, like national ID, voter registration, SIM card activation, border control, law enforcement, financial services, and mobile time attendance. A rugged version, Marshall 8R, is also available.
The Marshall 8 integrates advanced features such as fingerprint and facial recognition, barcode scanning, and card reading, all with tamper protection. A FAP 20 certified A600 fingerprint sensor and two 8 and 13 MegaPixel cameras provide high-quality biometric data capture.
The Marshall 8R integrates fingerprint and facial recognition, barcode scanning, and contact and contactless (NFC) card reading within a rugged casing with drop protection. It is equipped with an FBI Mobile ID FAP 30 certified A700 optical fingerprint sensor with live finger detection (LFD).
The manufacturer specifies that both devices are IP65-rated for water and dust resistance, making them suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Both devices support 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS, ensuring reliable connectivity. Also, both devices feature a 10000 mAh battery; the Marshall 8 offers up to 14 hours of continuous operation.
