Thales Cogent CS500f
The Thales Cogent Multifinger Scanner CS500f is a compact fingerprint reader for applications like e-ID document issuing or criminal identification. The scanner performs fast ten-print acquisition, as well as rolled fingerprint capture. It can be used in desktop or mobile environments. The device is certified by the FBI as compliant with Mobile ID Appendix F FAP60.
The manufacturer specifies that the scanner can detect fake fingerprints. Also, the device features an IP54-rated casing and a 6H scratch-proof, durable sensor surface.
Support modules for this scanner are included in MegaMatcher 13.1 SDK, MegaMatcher On Card 13.1 SDK and VeriFinger 13.1 SDK.
