Miaxis SM-201 WiFi and Bluetooth fingerprint readers
SM-201 from Miaxis Biometrics is a family of wireless fingerprint readers designed for using with mobile PCs, tablets and terminals. SM-201 is available as two models with either Wi-Fi (802.11) or Bluetooth connection. Both models have capacitive fingerprint sensor, are battery-powered and use USB interface for recharging.
SM-201 WiFi model uses Wi-Fi (802.11) connection for communication with a host PC. The device can operate as a client in an existing WLAN, or as a Wi-Fi hotspot.
SM-201 Bluetooth model can operate with other Bluetooth capable devices like smartphones or PCs with Bluetooth adapter.
Support modules for these scanners were included in MegaMatcher 9.0 SDK, MegaMatcher On Card 3.5 SDK and VeriFinger 9.0 SDK.
Support modules for these devices are not included in the newer versions of the mentioned SDKs, including the newest MegaMatcher 13.1 SDK, MegaMatcher On Card 13.1 SDK and VeriFinger 13.1 SDK.
