Lumidigm V-Series fingerprint sensors include multispectral imaging technology that allows to capture fingerprint images when there are difficulties in distinguishing fingerprint features (dirty, aged, dry, wet, moist or incorrectly placed fingers). The manufacturer specifies that this technology allows to perform live finger detection to reject fake or spoof fingers.
The sensors may have USB 2.0 or RS-232 interfaces.
Support modules for this scanner are included in:
- MegaMatcher 13.1 SDK
- MegaMatcher On Card 13.1 SDK
- VeriFinger 13.1 SDK
- Free Fingerprint Verification SDK
Older models (i.e. V300-02-xx or V302-02-xx) are not supported in the newest versions of Neurotechnology SDKs.
