iMD GF631BR (FABALIS series) is a single-finger fingerprint reader built around the proprietary MatriXcan sensor, with a capture area optimally sized for the thumbprint. It is FBI PIV (FAP30) certified, ensuring compliance for civil identification applications. The device is also MOSIP-compliant.

The MatriXcan sensor delivers clear fingerprint images on dry, worn, or wet fingers for reliable identification. The reader features an LED status indicator, liveness detection (LFD), on-device encryption, low power consumption, and resistance to latent prints, ultraviolet and strong light for secure and accurate operation.

The manufacturer specifies that the device's IP54-rated housing ensures resistance to dust and moisture, while a hardened scratch-resistant surface and excellent ESD performance (IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4) add to its durability.

Support modules for this device are included in MegaMatcher 2025.2 SDK, MegaMatcher On Card 2025.2 SDK and VeriFinger 2025.2 SDK.
