Log Time and Attendance from Anywhere with Latest NCheck Bio Attendance Biometric Software
NCheck Bio Attendance 3.0 from Neurotechnology enables mobile or on-site time and attendance logging using fingerprint or face biometrics with GPS and offline/online sync using Windows PCs and Android devices.
Vilnius, Lithuania – December 7, 2015 – Neurotechnology, a provider of high-precision biometric identification technologies, today announced the release of NCheck Bio Attendance 3.0 for easy time and attendance tracking using fingerprint or face biometrics on Android mobile devices or Windows PCs. The latest version includes new features and capabilities that support remote workers, enable shift logging and provide user group reporting. NCheck Bio Attendance features the latest biometric fingerprint and face identification algorithms from Neurotechnology with a new, easy-to-use interface across Android devices, PCs and the Web. Time and attendance tracking with NCheck is secure, fast and convenient because it provides accurate biometric identification and it doesn't require employees to carry RFID tokens or remember PINs or passwords. The mobile interface can be used by traveling employees and remote workers, even at construction sites where PCs or network connections may not be readily available.
"This major update to NCheck offers more flexibility than many other biometric time-attendance solutions in the market because it is not tied to any particular scanner hardware," said Vaidas Didvalis, NCheck project manager for Neurotechnology. "Easy integration with other systems can be done using the flexible reporting tools and data export capabilities."
NCheck Bio Attendance 3.0 includes a number of significant enhancements and features:
- New GPS logging capabilities allow tracking of a user's geographical location at each check-in or check-out event and enable the application to track how many hours remote employees spend in different places.
- Database synchronization with a new Android client supports workers in remote locations where network connections are unavailable. It records time and attendance information while offline and then automatically synchronizes the data with the NCheck server as soon as a network connection is available.
- User grouping functionality enables companies with multiple branches to manage users in defined groups instead of as individuals.
- Shift support and attendance planning allow the creation of reports according to defined shift times and pre-defined attendance plans.
As with the previous version, all installations of NCheck Bio Attendance can be connected to work as a single system, enabling the use of multiple check-in points or attendance kiosks around work sites or facilities. It can be installed on standard Windows PCs and off-the shelf Android devices and it uses basic PC webcams, built-in cameras on devices or 50 different fingerprint scanner models.
NCheck can be used in standalone or network-based systems and users may review their attendance data using the improved web browser interface. Custom application modifications can be made on request.
As with all Neurotechnology products, the latest version is available as a free upgrade to existing NCheck customers.
A 30-day trial with full functionality is available for download and evaluation.
NCheck Bio Attendance 3.0 and the entire Neurotechnology biometric product line are available through Neurotechnology or from distributors worldwide. For more information, go to www.neurotechnology.com.
