Product description
BioAuthorizeLAN is a fingerprint-based network authentication system. It allows businesses to securely access data over local area networks by restricting access only to authorized personnel. Using BioAuthorizeLAN, users can logon to their computers just by touching the fingerprint sensor. The system allows to lock PC by screen saver with the further unlocking by valid fingerprint.
Security-conscious users should note that BioAuthorizeLAN does not store fingerprint images. It converts fingerprint information into a mathematical template and then encrypts it using 128-bit 3DES encryption. Verification of fingerprints is done with encrypted fingerprint data.
BioAuthorizeLAN has protection from accessing workstation under duress. If a user is forced to access workstation by someone, he can silently notify the security system by scanning different finger, which shows an attempt of such access.
