Product description
The SIID is installed at the National Recidivism Registry under the Argentina's Ministry of Justice and Human Rights.
The system digitizes fingerprint tenprint cards and makes automatic searches throughout a database.
The database contains more than 1.5 million tenprint records.
In search mode a fingerprint or a tenprint card is loaded into the system, which returns a result indicating if the "suspect" file matches any of the fingerprints previously loaded into the database.
In order to increase precision and security, the system returns a candidate list.
A human expert reviews the candidates' list to state the final result.
