Product description
Historic implementation. Arkivus Cred was a face identification system developed by Arkivus Soluções Tecnológicas Ltda to counter fraud in Brazilian retail and banking. It captured the face of every person registering at a store or a bank and checked it against a shared database, then against a black list of known fraudsters and finally by full database search, returning a result in up to 2 seconds. By May 2016 more than 5 million people had been enrolled; the cloud-based system ran 20,000 desktop client stations and handled peak loads of 100 transactions per second.
